Why are Bidets better than Toilet Paper?

Bidets have been in high demand due to the recent shortage of toilet paper. Because people are searching for alternatives, Google searches for bidets have increased tenfold. Apart from the obvious benefits, bidets can also be used to make you feel good when you pass empty shelves of toilet paper at your local supermarket.

What is a bidet, you ask?

This is not a new concept for people in other parts of the world. A bidet is required in certain European countries to be in every bathroom that has a toilet. There are two types of bidets. The French version is a distinct fixture and is intended for cleaning your nether regions with water.

It is essentially a rectangular ceramic bowl with a tap, and drain. They must be plumbed in, and space is required to install one. We can supply and install these types of bidets. They also offer regular cistern repairs and installation. There are many names for the other type of bidet: bidet toilet seat or attachment, Japanese toilet seat, bidet toilet chair, bidet toilet seats, washlet and combined toilet bidet.

Why would you want to install a bidet?

One, it will make your home cleaner. If you don't know what bidets are, they are fixtures in the toilet that spray water on your bum for cleaning it. There is no need to use paper. This means that rashes and haemorrhoids will be much easier to manage. Environmental benefits are another big benefit. To supply toilet paper demand, whole forests are cut down.

Less paper means more trees. There are also benefits to your plumbing. Too much toilet paper can cause a lot of blockages in the toilets. You can reduce the likelihood of your drains becoming blocked by removing any toilet paper.

Can my toilet be converted into a bidet or toilet?

They are toilet seats with a spray function. The same water supply is used to spray the cleaning spray. If you have a place to plug it in, the seat will fit on existing toilets.

An electrical connection or PowerPoint is required, which is why the electric bidet was created. We have the experience and expertise to properly install a bidet toilet chair. An extension cord that isn't in your bathroom should not be there to trip you up.

There are many benefits to the elderly and those who are less mobile. A toilet that is set up quickly can clean you up. This toilet can be a great help for people who have restricted mobility. It also saves time trying to find toilet paper.

Do I have to DIY install bidets myself?

The Master Plumbers' Association and other organizations such as the Queensland Building and Construction Commission warn people not to install DIY bidets and hoses. This installation is illegal and could pose a danger to your health and safety.

Brett Bassett (QBCC Commissioner) stressed the danger of water supplies being contaminated with E.coli bacteria. Bassett stated that it is illegal to perform plumbing work if you are not a licensed plumber.
